About Us
My husband and I were both born and
raised on farms, animals have always
been a huge part of our lives.
Without them, we feel as part of our
lives are missing.
My Chihuahua interest started with my
first tiny fawn male Chihuahua when I was 16 years old, too many years ago
to mention! It wasn't until a little over 20 years ago that I had the opportunity to start a breeding program with my heart's desire, Chihuahuas. Prior to that, we raised Pointers, Labs, and Lhasa Apsos. Not one of those breeds captured my heart like the ever-dependent little people with the furbodies, AKA, Chihuahuas.
During the time we were getting started breeding and raising Chihuahuas, we owned our own businesses. Bob drilled water wells and I was an accountant/tax preparer. Now that we both have retired from our income producing jobs, we have devoted the biggest part of our time to caring for and loving our little critters. We look forward to each and every day of the interaction with them. This is a feeling very few people experience in their lifetime. And we have it every day! How lucky can two people be! We do not consider it a job to care for them, we consider it an opportunity to receive all the love these little guys have to give.
I have now completed my Vet Tech training program and received my diploma.....NO, thank you, I am not looking for a job! I feel the more I know about taking care of my fur-babies, the better care I can give them. This is a learning experience for as long as we have the responsibility of caring for them, we don't even pretend we will ever know all there is to know about the breeding and caring for them. There is always more to learn. And, learning, we are!
